Anticipated Time Commitments

1.  Doing ministry/preparing for ministry:  Lessons are prepared for the teacher. Teacher will arrive thirty minutes before the service to review lesson and gather materials. Weekday services last 1 ½ hours and weekend services can be up to 1½ hours.

  1. Participating in meetings/training: Attend department and/or planning meetings as requested.

Responsibilities/Duties

  1. Develop a Christ-centered relationship with the children and co-laborers.
  2. Interact with the children through play, games, and activities.
  3. Ensure order within the classroom.
  4. Participate in classroom activities (ie. Praise and worship, story time and lesson time, prayer etc.).
  5. Assisting children during various classroom activities (ie. Snack, crafts, etc.).
  6. Support ministry leadership
  7. Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined within the Wee Turn Worker’s Manual .
  8. Enthusiastically complete any task and assignments.
  9. Brings all necessary materials to meetings, events, etc.

Equipment Use

Projector and video equipment (DVD player), sound & musical equipment/instruments,. Software: Shift-Note scheduling program, Time Station, Google Email.

Full Time Video Production Manager

  • Organization, Extensive knowledge in the entire production process in videography, cinematography, and photography such as
  • Pre Production: Knowledge in gear being used to complete projects, pre-production software and practices such as writing scripts and shot listing. Ability to communicate to and organize help and talent.
  • Production: Knowledge in Cameras, Lighting, tools, and hardware used during videoing/photography. Ability to work with help and talent in a professional manor, keep projects on schedule while shooting.
  • Post-Production: Extensive knowledge in Adobe products such as After Effects, Premiere, Encore, Audition, and third party plug-ins. Knowledge in any 3D software is desired (C4D, 3D Max, etc.)

Anticipated Time Commitments

  1. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: The majority is ministry prep to coincide
    with master calendar events.
  2. Participating in meetings/training: Attend departmental and/ or planning meetings as requested.
  3. Acquiring Stock footage for future videos: Attending Church events and services when.

 

Responsibilities/Duties

  1. Creating Media (videos: video announcements, department videos, worship videos,
    sermon series videos, My Story videos, Sunday/Wednesday Sermons, DVD’s, graphics, countdowns, motion backgrounds, triple wide motion backgrounds, Church Promos).
  2. Pre and post edit project with various ministry leaders.
  3. Shot listing, scripting, scheduling dates, shooting, and managing videos for on and
    off site projects.
  4. Designing creative intro’s / outro’s for various ministries.
  5. Working with current video switcher – knowledge in operation, locating and recording footage.
  6. Upkeep and cleaning computers, video switcher, and workspace.
  7. Keep video storage log updated.
  8. Maintain all web based video/upload sites; i.e. YouTube, Vimeo, Sermon.net, streaming.
  9. Operate and assist with maintenance, use, and research of church cameras
    as directed by Technical Director.
  10. Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report and problems
    to Technical Director.
  11. Responsible to work with Technical Director in creative changes to videos.
  12. All other duties as assigned.

PC, MAC, printer/copier/fax, CD/DVD duplicator, phone, cameras, video lighting, audio recording, stage equipment, video production equipment.

Full Time Financial Accountant

The financial account is responsible for keeping the church's general ledger and financial records and will prepare related forms and reports as necessary, in addition to preparing all checks for accounts payable. This person will help ensure that the church's finances are in accord with legal, ethical, and biblical standards.

ANTICIPATED TIME COMMITMENTS.   

1. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry:  40 hours per week

2. Participating in meetings/training:  Must attend weekly staff meetings and  other training as deemed necessary by leadership.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  1. Keep confidential all financial and business matters of TurningPoint Church.
  2. Keep accurate records of member contributions and prepare year-end summaries for each member for tax and individual review purposes. 
  3. Keep accurate records of all church income through tithes, offerings, and special gifts. 
  4. Keep accurate records of all church expenditures ensuring they are legal and in compliance with best practices for accounting. 
  5. Inform executive administrator if expenditures exceed budget allowances.
  6. Prepare financial reports for the Senior Pastor, Executive Administrator & Ministry Leaders.
  7. Prepare any required reports or forms for board of directors, executive administrator, auditor, CPA, IRS, bank representatives or other offices of accountability.
  8. Attend church business meetings to answer any questions related to church finances when asked. 
  9. Prepare manual payroll checks when necessary and related tax records/payments.
  10. Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable for expenses and obligations. 
  11. Prepare checks for contributions to missions work and other special endeavors. 
  12. Prepare reimbursement checks upon approval of executive administrator. 
  13. Reconcile and balance church checking accounts. 
  14. Work closely with CPA firm in the preparation and reconciliation of all financial records, credit card statements, and monthly bank statements. 
  15. Assist executive administrator and CPA in preparation of year end reports. 
  16. Oversee the processing of all collection of tithes and offerings. 
  17. Work with the Benevolence Committee providing financial accounting and support.
  18. Other duties as assigned by Executive Administrator and/or Senior Pastor.
