Got to ride out with our HonorBound gang (TurningPoint Riders) today!

Turning Point has a motorcycle group called HonorBound of which I became a part not too long ago (yes, I have a motorcycle and probably a motorcycle angel). Today being the last Sunday before our regathering together as a church, we met in the church parking lot and I rode out with them to a great little small town restaurant for breakfast. There were about 12-15 of us in all.

Toward the end of our meal I became aware that everything had grown quiet. Then I saw why. A few of our group had huddled around our waitress and were praying for her. The Spirit of God was there. She was touched.

When we walked outside we encountered a fleet of motorcycles ridden by another group out for a Sunday ride. Once again, members of HonorBound asked if they could bless their bikes (beautiful Harley’s all). Before I knew it they were laying hands on one of the riders in prayer while the rest of his group stood quietly by. Again, the Lord’s Presence was there.

What a blessing it was to be able to witness one of the ministry arms of our church reach out to people I would likely never have a chance to reach. Paul said, “I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some” (1 Corinthians 9:22 NIV).

Thank God for HonorBound!
